Occultation é uma banda de Doom Metal formada em 2010 (New York City), levada a frente por um dos integrantes do Negative Plane. O som dos caras é algo na linha de The Devil’s Blood, com passagens que chegam a lembrar algo de Mercyful Fate, Death SS, porem com bastante personalidade. “Silence in the Ancestral House” é o segundo álbum. Destaco os vocais, limpos e de certa forma imperfeitos, mas que complementam o instrumental da banda, deixando um toque frio e escuro! Ótimo álbum!
Occultation is a Doom Metal band formed in 2010 (New
York City), broughtforward by a member of Negative Plane. The
sound of the guys is something along the lines of The
Devil's Blood, with passages that they remembersomething
from Mercyful Fate, Death SS, but with enough personality. "Silence in
the Ancestral House" is the second full length album. I
highlight the vocals, clean and somewhat imperfect, but which
complement the instrumental from the band, leaving a touch cold
and dark. Great album!
